LABAN HIHU MWANGI

Laban is the Chief Executive Officer for Jitegemea Credit Scheme. Laban Joined JCS in 2012.
He has acquired MBA Banking and Finance (Microfinance Option), a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) Option, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) and a member of ICPAK.
Has also acquired a higher diploma in Leadership and Bible Theology acquired from Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College.
He has a wealth of experience gained from over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, business administration and strategy management.
Laban has worked in microfinance institutions such as Faulu Kenya in various capacity as an accountant and Senior Accountant, Mwalimu Cooperative Sacco and Site enterprises promotion as a Finance and Administration manager and Head of Finance and strategy in JCS.
His core competencies include fundraising, budgeting, financial management, systems knowledge, implementation of business and financial plans and Cash flows, liquidity management and treasury management.
JACKSON KIHUMBA WANG'OMBE
HEAD OF BUSINESS GROWTH AND OPERATIONS

JACKSON KIHUMBA WANG'OMBE

Jackson is a masters degree holder in Banking and Finance (Microfinance) from Moi University, a graduate in Bachelor of Science in Microfinance from KeMU university and a diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).

He has over 13 years’ experience in management and leadership in various microfinance institutions such as Mwananchi Credit ltd, Opportunity Kenya Limited, Small-scale Holders Irrigation Scheme and Pamoja Women Development Programme. He is a trained SPM champion and has served as an AMFI board member.

NANCY NJUE
HEAD OF RISK MANAGEMENT

NANCY NJUE

Nancy is currently the Head of Risk and Compliance in Jitegemea Credit and has worked in the institution since 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Marketing) option, Master’s degree (Strategic Management) option. She has over 19 years’ experience and has been instrumental in the growth of JCS, having being one of the pioneer- long serving staff.

She joined JCS in 1999 as a credit officer and has risen through the ranks to become the first Area Manager. She has previously held the position of Head of Operations. Her key competencies are development and conception of new products, risk management and creation of linkages and commitment to change and advocate of continuous improvement

LUCY GACHABU
HEAD OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION

LUCY GACHABU

Lucy is currently the Head of Human Resources in Jitegemea Credit and has worked in the institution since 2009.
Holds a Higher Diploma Human Resources Management (CHRM), Diploma in Business Management and a Diploma in Secretarial Management. She has certifications in Counselling, Office Management/Administration and Personnel Management among others.
Has worked in the Catholic Diocese of Murang’a in Various Parishes as a senior Secretary/Accountant. In Jitegemea Credit Scheme, she has risen through the ranks where she has worked as a Customer Relationship Advisor, an account assistant, human Resource Assistant and now the Head of Human Resources. Have over thirteen years’ experience, Seven (7) in Human Resources and administration and has worked in other industries. She is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
Key core competencies include, Human resources management, Administration, procurement, Employee relations, Personnel management, employee welfare and customer service.

JOE MAINA
HEAD OF FINANCE

JOE MAINA

Joe is the Head of Finance in Jitegemea Credit and has worked in the institution since 2004.

He is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) option, a diploma in cooperative management and Certified Public Accountant (KASNEB).

He has over 18 years’ experience and has been an integral part in the performance offinance department and the growth of JCS since his entry, having risen from Accounts clerk, Accountant, Senior Accountant to the current position.

His core competencies include budgeting, financial management, systems knowledge and change over, implementation of business and financial plans and Cash flows, liquidity management and fundraising.

MANUEL MWANGANGI
HEAD OF ICT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT

MANUEL MWANGANGI

Manuel is currently the Head of ICT and Customer Support in Jitegemea Credit and has worked in the institution since 2009.
Manuel was previously the Business Support, Marketing & Product Development Manager where he had oversight of market activations, data processing and customer satisfaction through availing competitive products and services in a timely and convenient manner. He joined Jitegemea in 2009 and carries over 14 years’ experience in the industry.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from University of Greenwich, UK.
Manuel carries a wealth of experience in data analysis and process modelling having previously worked with Kenya Commercial Bank as a Data Analyst, Absa Bank (previously Barclays Bank of Kenya) and Block Hotels Ltd. He is experienced in Change Management, Business Report Writing, Product differentiation among other skills.
CPA SAMUEL M. NDEHI
INTERNAL AUDITOR

CPA SAMUEL M. NDEHI

Samuel has been the Internal Auditor for Jitegemea Credit Scheme since 2021.

He holds the following qualifications; Certified public accountant [CPA-k].He is a registered member of ICPAK and currently pursuing BCOM accounting option.

He has over seven years’ experience. He has worked as an accountant, internal auditor and external auditor in the medical sector, hospitality and banking industries before coming to the MFI industry. He is conversant with international financial reporting standards [IFRS], International standards on auditing [ISA], International Accounting standards [IAS], donor requirements and integrated finance management information system [IFMIS]
